Benita is a Peruvian medium roast that carries the character of a remarkable growing region and the dedication of the farmers who call it home. It's a coffee worth slowing down for, appreciating not only what's in the cup but the journey that brought it there.

Benita comes from the Tabaconas area of San Ignacio, Cajamarca, Peru, where smallholder farmers grow traditional Typica and Pache coffee varieties high in the mountains. At elevations between 1,700 and 1,900 meters, these coffees are carefully cultivated and washed before roasting. Through the work of the Ascafeto cooperative and its farming partners, specialty coffee offers local producers opportunities to earn greater value for their harvests while continuing a proud agricultural tradition.
